Azariah and Eighty Priests Withstand King Uzziah in the Temple

King Uzziah of Judah, grown strong and prosperous, is lifted up in pride and transgresses by entering the Holy Place of the temple to burn incense upon the golden altar; High Priest Azariah and eighty valiant priests of the LORD confront the king, insisting that incense burning belongs solely to the consecrated sons of Aaron; when Uzziah turns upon them in anger with a censer in his hand, leprosy suddenly breaks out on his forehead, and he is hurried out unclean, living in an isolated house until his death.
