Death and burial of Aaron the high priest on Mount Hor

At the LORD’s command, Moses accompanied Aaron and his son Eleazar up Mount Hor on the border of Edom, where Moses stripped Aaron of his high priestly vestments and placed them upon Eleazar before Aaron died peacefully upon the mountain summit.
